For decades the smoke and mirrors of "education reform" have distracted the public with the idea that standardized tests are the ultimate metric for student growth and the best predictor of future success.
It’s a bad idea. It always has been. And our children and society have suffered from it!
Our children's future and the future of our world demand we take a different approach to what and how they learn. In addition to greater academic knowledge, they need to have greater knowledge of themselves, other people, and Spaceship Earth. It's also essential they acquire positive mental models to guide them as they build that "better world" previous generations could only dream about.
Masterpieces of Learning can finally bring an end to the testing insanity that has been promoted by politicians, education bureaucrats, and the testing-industrial complex that profits from it.
